The new BMW 5 Series was scheduled to launch in 2010, 2011 or 2012. Now, it seems that 2011 is the most likely year for the release date.
BMW wants to change the V10 from the previous model with a turbo V8 which will be mounted on the 2011 BMW 5 Series. If everything goes according to plan, the
new car
will also be available in a hybrid version. The wheelbase will be modified, among other visible details. On a technical level, the 2011 BMW 5 Series will be equipped with a special night vision camera perfect for spotting pedestrians, sideview cameras and a head-up display.
